125th ANNIVERSARY PAVILION
On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of Deutsche Grammophon, an audio-spatial experience is being created to bring classical music to life. The whole thing happens in China, a huge market and classical music enthusiastic country.
Like the German gramophone with the invention of the record, we record music, spatially. The built soundwave translates the parameters of the music into space, allowing rythm, highs, lows, melodies to be experienced as you walk through the structure. In addition, a fully kinetic 40m long sculpture will dance above visitors at another location, translating classical music live into space.
